	Welcome to the home of Waco Thunder Baseball, the leading youth baseball organization in Central Texas. We hope that you'll explore our site to learn more about some of the great opportunities we are creating for several young baseball players in our community. Over the past five years, Waco Thunder Baseball has grown significantly. What began as just one 8U team has now flourished into four, very competitive teams that have played at the 8U, 9U, 10U, and 11U, 12U levels. Everyone involved with Thunder Baseball looks forward to our continued growth and development, and anxiously awaits our opportunity to provide more children in our area with a unique chance to be a part of something special.

11U Wins Super Series American World Series

On July 17, the Waco Thunder 11U won the very prestigious 2010 Super Series 11U American World Series championship after boasting a 9-2 record during the week long tournament in Round Rock. This victory was a great conclusion to a very successful season. Shortstop Matthew Miles, second baseman Ricky Gerik, and catcher Chris Olivas were selected to the All-Tournament Team. The Thunder produced more individuals for this select group of players than any other team in the tournament.

11U Brings Hardware Back to Texas

The Waco Thunder 11U brought home 3rd Place at this weekend's rain-shortened Triple Crown Sports SlumpBuster in Omaha, Nebraska. The tournament was cancelled Sunday afternoon due to heavy rain and lightning. The 11U headed back to Texas after sitting in favorable positioning just three games away from the championship game. Despite not being able to play the event to its conclusion, the 11U had performed well enough to receive 3rd Place honors in what was the largest tournament in Waco Thunder Baseball history.
